Don't forget the forum

Just a quick reminder to check out our forums.

Historian is currently trying to get some life into them with what I would say is best described as an introductions thread.

Our forums have suffered a lot from the lack of chatty users on the site, for forums to work they really need a critical mass of users who are willing to chat. For this reason we have not pushed them too hard. I think we are more than past that amount of users now and just need to try and exert some pressure on them.

In the future, as time permits (a phrase that will follow me to my grave), I will be making it so that you can see what interesting posts are going on whilst in the Pubs Galore web site looking at the pubs. Hopefully drawing people more simply onto the forum site and getting more people chatting.

Anyway, why not introduce yourself and hopefully we can make the forums a real part of the site and make the site feel more alive.
